Hello my fellows!
Welcome to the Baja California Adventures in the year 2007! I see that you have initially shown your interest in this motorcycle tour. This new e-newsletter called Baja California Reviews is a good way of keeping you informed from time to time so that you will be better prepared for the adventures.
I was in San Diego last week for the FWGAD tournament. Tijuana was only around the corner. So I'd better grasp a chance to learn more about insurance and money exchange.
Rosarito (11 miles south of Tijuana) will be a good place to exchange your money into pesos since there would be much of troublesome to park your motorcycle in a such big city, Tijuana only if we come in a large group of bikers.
AAA offices at border locations in California can provide Mexican insurance to members. A number of companies at border locations also provide insurance; one of the best-known is Sanborn's. Liability only is $72.50 for 14 days. Neither of motorcycle or hospital will be covered. I do not think that insurance on motorcycle is mandatory in Mexico. I can find out later. That's about it all for now. Thank you.
See you somewhere in time! Amigos!
